Curried shrimp in cream sauce

Mise en place
If the shrimps are frozen, thaw them by dropping them in a bowl of warm water while still in the package.
Once the shrimps are thawed, peel them and reserve covered in a bowl.
Mix the flour and the cream in a bowl.
Mince a shallot and reserve for garnish.
Cooking
Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Heat the curry power for a few seconds.
Add the sherry and let it reduce a few seconds.
And the cream and flour mixture while mixing gently.
Add the ketchup and mix well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add the shrimps.
Cook, turning the shrimps a few times, until they are pink on both sides.
Garnish
Serve on white rice and garnish with shallots.
